“Technest” scholarship program
The "Technest" scholarship program was established in October 2021 under the Innovation and Digital Development agency. The goal is to contribute to the process of creating a bank of specialists in the ICT field in the country and to meet the needs in the labor market. In the academic year of 2021-2022, the first year of the program's activity, more than 700 young people were awarded scholarships for education and encouraged them to acquire the profession of the future. The goal is to increase the number of scholars to 2000 in the second academic year. The "Technest" scholarship program organizes competitive admission of students to the most demanding IT courses within the framework of cooperation with the country's leading educational centers in the field of ICT for the purpose of training specialists. The competition is carried out in several stages: online application, one or several exams according to the type of course and final interview stage. Only candidates who have successfully passed all stages can get the scholarship. Based on admission results 70%, 90% and 100% scholarships are awarded. Only citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan between the ages of 13 and 65 who have successfully completed all stages are eligible for the scholarship.

The purpose of the "Technest" club is the formation of a community of scholars. Only candidates who have won a scholarship and started studying are accepted as members of the club. Club activities stimulate the members to exchange experiences and ideas among themselves. By organizing various trainings, seminars, meetings with authorized representatives of companies, the club contributes to the comprehensive development of pensioners. Activities like, picnics, excursions, field trips, etc. are also organized within the framework of club. One of the important goals ahead is that in the future, startup teams will be formed among the club members, and young people will realize their business ideas together.

ICT education centers can apply as partners to the "Technest" scholarship program. For aplication submission it is mandatory to participate in survey.
Technest is a national scholarship program initiated by the Innovation and Digital Development Agency. The main goal of the "Technest" scholarship program is to accelerate the training of national personnel in information and communication technologies, to eliminate existing deficiencies in this field, and to contribute to digital development in the country. So far, more than 5000 citizens have been trained in more than 50 specialties of information and communication technologies within the framework of the program. Currently, the project cooperates with more than 30 training centers.
Technest is a scholarship program. After successfully passing the selection stages, depending on your results, 70%-90%-100% of the total amount of your tuition fee is covered by the "Technest" scholarship program. The rest of the payment is paid by the retiree. In the regions, the scholarship is 100%.
At the initial stage, after applying, your application is reviewed by our educational partners. In the second stage, an exam is conducted to check your technical knowledge according to your chosen specialty, and in the final stage, an interview is conducted to check your soft skills. Information is sent by our educational partners to those who have successfully passed all stages and earned the title of scholarship.
Specialization are determined according to the needs of the labor market. Our priority areas for 2024 are: "DevOps" engineering, "Frontend" programming, "Backend" programming, UX&UI design, 3D design, Mobile programming, Network administration, Cybersecurity, Product ownership, etc.
Registration is done in two waves during the year. You can apply and register when the registration is active for the specialty you are interested in.

As a partner candidate, you can join the list of "Technest" partners by going through the registration and selection stage. To register, you can register by clicking on the "Become a Partner" section on the technest.idda.az website.
All citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan between the ages of 13 and 65 can apply for the "Technest" scholarship program.
When applying, you can apply for only 2 specialties.
You can only avail the scholarship again 6 months after your graduation date from your previous Technest course.
No, you can only study at one study center. If you have received acceptance from both, you must decline one.
Yes, the learning center will regularly inform you about the status of your application.
It is not recommended to cancel the current education and apply for a new wave, unless there is an exception.
We are currently cooperating with several educational centers that offer online education along with offline education. You can make your choice in this direction during the application process.
Yes, even if your previous education is not in the field of ICT, you can still apply for the Technest scholarship program.
